There is a demand of professionals in Germany in the tourism, hospitality, catering and gastronomy sectors. Consequently, there can be job opportunities for reception desk personnel, waiters, cooks, assistant cooks and other positions covering different services.

The required level of German for some of these professions is usually not as high as the one needed to have access to other technical occupations.
